Julie Yi, owner of Aesthetically Pleasing Beauty Studio is now a proud member of the ÉLAN Medical Aesthetics Team.

Julie, a Korean American who was born and raised in Maryland, has always had an affinity for the beauty industry. While earning her Bachelor of Arts in Health Administration from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2008, she worked as a lash technician and found her passion in Aesthetics. In 2014, Julie decided to dive deeper into the skincare world by attending the Von Lee International School of Esthetics in Pikesville, Maryland.

As a multi-faceted medical aesthetician, Julie excels in a variety of treatments, including skincare, eyelash extensions, hair removal, brow shaping, tinting, Nano Brows, and more. Her approach is rooted in the belief that skin health is ever-evolving, and she is dedicated to finding personalized treatment solutions that meet each client’s unique goals. She offers medical-grade skin care products and is certified to perform medical-grade facials and hair restoration treatments using AquaFirme XS.

Outside of her career, Julie is a devoted wife and mother to two active boys, aged 7 and 9, and a proud dog mom to her Yorkipoo, Bentley. When she’s not perfecting skin or lashes, she indulges in her love for travel, savoring delicious food, and enjoying craft cocktails.
